Return / Exchange:

Return & Exchange Procedure:
All items must be returned within 30 days from the delivery date to qualify for a full refund or exchange. The 30 days clock begins when the carrier provides confirmation of delivery to kwamebaah.com. This also applies to items purchased at our physical store and all trade shows and events (the 30 days clock for items purchased at the physical store and all trade shows begins when you leave the premises of the store or the location of the trade show or the event).
- Items that are being returned must be unworn, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging or bag (if you bought at a trade show or event).
- Product damage that occurs after the customer wears the purchased item for any length of time does not qualify for a refund or exchange. However, it will be covered under the one-year craftsmanship free repair guarantee, and we will be responsible for the shipping costs.
- All purchased item that meets the requirements in bullets (1) and (2) can be exchanged for a shoe of equal value within 30 days of purchase. An exchange also requires a return of the original order, following the above guidelines provided for returns. We will process your exchange upon receipt of your return.
- For any refund or exchange, please email us (sales@kwamebaah.com) within 30 days period with your mailing address to receive a paid postage, or use the return label that was in your package if your package came with a return label.
- Package must be returned in original box.
- Make sure the merchandise is properly packaged to avoid damage during the transit.
- Include the copy of your purchase receipt.
- If we send a package and it is returned to us due to being unclaimed, we will not reship. We will process a refund.
Clearance:
- Items that are on clearance do not come with one-year craftsmanship guarantee.
- All clearance items are “BUY AS IS"
- There is NO REFUND on all clearance purchased item.
- There is NO EXCHANGE on all clearance purchased item.

1. Straps pulling out where soles are not excessively worn

The following are NOT covered under the guarantee:
1. Outsole wearing out or worn through
2. Cuts, scratches, burns etc.
3. Deterioration from water abuse or other abuse
4. Excessive stretching
5. Animals chewing or abusing the product
6. Shrinkage from overexposure to extreme heat
7. Wear due to normal use
Refund Process
- Kwamebaah.com processes refunds in the original payment method within 48 hours of receiving the returned item(s).
- Please note that, depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.

How to care for your Kwame Baah hand woven and Kente print footwear:
Should your shoes become stained or dirty, we recommend gently handwashing in the following
fashion:
Materials:
A soft shoe brush, scrub brush, toothbrush, or sponge dedicated to cleaning
Gentle laundry detergent or your stain remover of choice
Dish soap (optional, only for oil stains or severe dirt)
Lukewarm water
Clean dishcloth or towel
Process:
1. Dry brush your shoes with a brush or toothbrush to get rid of as much dirt and debris as
possible. (You might find this completes the job without more work!)
2. Mix lukewarm water with a bit of detergent in a large bucket/sink and stir to dissolve.
(Approximately ¼ teaspoon detergent to 1 quart water. You don't need lots of bubbles to
get shoes clean, and too much soap might leave a residue in the fabric.)
3. Use your brush to scrub the mixture into stains on the shoe. Immersing the shoe in the
solution is not recommended only because it will take longer to dry.
4. Use clean damp cloth to wipe off all the soap residue afterward. (IF you feel soap is
not thoroughly removed by wiping, you may briefly rinse under running water.)
5. For deep stains, you may need to repeat this process a couple of times or add a tiny
drop of dish soap to the detergent solution.
6. Allow your shoes to air dry completely before wearing again. Dry them in the sun if
you can (it's fast and can help with odors!), or put some crumpled up newspaper inside to
help speed up the process.
